It has both free and not-free version (again, about $60). But unfortunately, both of them are hard to use (the later is even harder). To make fighting games, you could use either Fighting Maker or MUGEN (if I'm not mistaken, Vanguard Princess is built using MUGEN). To make RPG, the best and easiest engine to use is RPG Maker XP/VX. Can Ren'py do something like this? I was thinking of fusing Fighter Maker 2nd with Ren'py, can it be done? Or should I just make my own engine? I am thinking of a dynamic, 2D fighting-like battle system for my game. I'd like to ask if the battle system is a turn-based, Final Fantasy-rip, or can it do something else like an RTS?
